The Arab Union for Productive Families and Handicrafts and Traditional Industries presents to you its best regards and wishes for success and success.
The Federation takes the opportunity on this occasion to present to you an introductory overview of the vision, mission and objectives of the Federation, and to inform you of the most important provisions of the agreement signed between the Federation represented by the President of the Federation, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Basset Al-Kadah, and Badr Al-Arab Company S.A.L. represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Sarkis Atallah.
First: Vision of the Union:
- Supporting the growth and development of productive families and handicrafts and traditional industries, meeting their development needs and supporting their production capacities.
- Strengthening the institutional and empowering capacities of productive families and workers in handicrafts and traditional industries.
- Expand the use of information technology.
Second: Mission of the Union:
As the Arab Union for Productive Families and Handicrafts and Traditional Industries, it is the leading gathering in the Arab region, working to develop the position of this sector in the economies of the Arab countries and works to:
- Developing the Arab society by developing the role of the inclusive economy and enhancing growth and employment opportunities to bring about sustainable development, bearing in mind the preservation of the Arab cultural heritage.
- Developing inter-Arab economic ties and promoting and developing trade exchange among them.
Third: Objectives of the Union:
We recall some of the objectives of the Union to provide support and assistance to the productive families sector and handicrafts and traditional industries and to develop and strengthen its efforts in production.
- Encourage investment in natural and human resources.
- Providing opportunities for the products of the productive families sector and handicrafts and traditional industries to enter the local, regional and international markets.
- Protecting Arab local markets from external competition and expanding their access to traditional markets.
- Supporting the exchange of production of productive families and handicrafts and traditional industries between Arab countries.
- Holding conferences, exhibitions and markets to promote this sector of promotion, marketing and sale in a way that enables workers in this sector economically and socially.
In order to implement the vision, mission and objectives of the Union in providing technical and logistical support to the productive families sector and workers in the craft and traditional industries, a cooperation agreement was signed on "Establishing, managing and operating an electronic platform" to translate the achievement of the vision, mission and objectives of the Union in order to create new markets that serve productive families and workers in handicrafts and traditional industries and enable them to spread and exchange their products in all Arab countries in a way that enhances the reality of this sector and the sustainability of its production and its contribution to local and sustainable development in the Arab countries.
Fourth: The objectives of the platform establishing, managing and operating the electronic platform, summarized as follows:
- Providing full logistical and technical support to productive families and owners of handicrafts and traditional industries for the material benefit of them.
- E-marketing and delivery of the products of productive families and owners of craft and traditional industries, and the establishment of special stores for each productive family, in addition to a specialized electronic application, and ensuring their delivery to the largest segment of final consumers in the target markets, and delivering them as soon as possible because Badr Al-Arab Company has the experience and capabilities to deliver them after contracting with the best delivery companies and electronic payment services in each country, and it is also committed to transporting and distributing postal parcels and commercial goods between productive families and owners of craft and traditional industries.
The Union hopes from the heads of regional offices to cooperate fully and continuously with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Badr Al-Arab Company in order to achieve the common interest of productive families and workers in handicrafts and traditional industries in our Arab countries.
